Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS)

Premenstrual Syndrome, also known as PMS, occurs when premenstrual symptoms affect daily life situations in the days or weeks leading up to menstruation. Not getting enough Vitamin B6, calcium, or magnesium in the foods you eat can increase chances of getting PMS. High stress, a lack of exercise, and too much caffeine can make symptoms worse. Aside from normal symptoms, PMS symptoms include a desire to withdrawal from family & friends, feelings of sadness or anger, difficulty focusing on tasks, and acting in a forceful or hostile nature. The medical approach treats the symptom and includes hormone therapy and NSAIDs which both have been linked to increased risk of cancer as well as kidney and liver failure.

The Maximized Living approach does not cover up the symptom but actually finds and treats the cause of the problem. Most often the cause of fatigue is caused by the brain not being able to send the proper amount of energy to the body. This is why the Maximized Living approach includes a scan of your spine and nervous system using state of the art technology to check for diminished nerve supply.  Along with maximizing nerve supply there are customized nutrition and detoxification programs to restore energy levels and fuel the body with the necessary nutrients for its speedy recovery.
