Toronto Canada, November 21 of this year was one of the biggest days in my life. Our Colorado Rapids won the MLS cup making them the Major League Soccer champs of 2010!

I care about helping people of all ages, and cultures. I want them to live a life of victory. When people win we all win. When they heal, our city and nation heals. My mission causes me to take the necessary steps to influence change. So, two years ago when we showed up to serve at a huge concert event, I had no idea who I would meet that day. My job was to show up and serve.

While at the event, we met a woman from the Colorado Rapids who asked us to take what we were doing there and bring it to their event the following weekend. We said yes and a few days later, met to do a walk through at the stadium and to create a plan. As she was giving us the tour I asked her who the team chiropractor was, she told us that at this time they were looking for someone new. The previous chiropractor had not been available on a consistent basis for the team.

From that exchange, another meeting with the decision makers at the Rapids was birthed. We explained that the mission of the Maximized Living Wellness Advisory Council (WAC) is to maximize performance and save lives. First we want to focus on the players and then the fans. We got the contract because the Rapids love our mission and we have a committed team of WAC doctors in Colorado and around the country, that are ready to serve the needs of the team. One doctor is not enough to change a city or nation.

So we band together and take turns serving the Colorado Rapids and maximizing their nerve supply. The team begins to feel strong and have less injuries. They begin to win games. The next thing you know, they make the play-offs. By now the players, trainers, and coaches are asking to get their power turned on and are very thankful for the service we are providing them. The trainer tells us that this is the best year they have had as far as a low percentage of real injuries. The Colorado Rapids are thankful for us going above and beyond the call to serve.

By November 13, the team wins the Eastern Conference Championships in Colorado! What a pleasure it was to be on the field and share the experience with the players and my fellow WAC chiropractors. Then it was off to Toronto to play one more game against the heavily favored FC Dallas team. The experts were not giving Colorado much of a chance to win.

What the experts didn't know was the heart of our team. They did not know that the Rapids had been getting Maximized Living care for the entire year. All the other teams had a chiropractor treating their bad backs, but no one had a Maximized Living Wellness Advisory Council team caring for them.  No one had a team of certified doctors maximizing the function of the players, trainers, and coaches nerve supply.

I know in my heart that our WAC team played a very important role in the health and performance of the players, trainers, and coaches. Every adjustment counted and built up a powerful nerve function ability that showed up on the field and in the recovery time of the athlete. That healthy team was able to play at a higher level and it showed up with more wins.

In the finals it was a pretty even game, but as time went on you could see the strength and spirit of our team begin to maximize. The level of play for our team increased while FC Dallas' level of play did not. And after a 30-minute plus overtime, the Rapids WON! 2-1.

After the game, I got to see the amazing life changing benefits of Maximized Living. I got to see grown men and women cry with joy. I got to see the Colorado Rapids fans that traveled all the way from Denver cheer for their team and have an incredible celebration. After returning home I got to see people of all ages from the city of Denver, the State of Colorado, and every Colorado fan across the Nation celebrate.

Did our Maximized Living adjustments matter? You bet! Did they help the players play at a higher level? You bet! Did they prevent the players from getting injured? You bet! Did that spill over into more wins and eventually the MLS Championship? You bet! Did every Colorado fan across the world cheer and celebrate? You bet! Did wining the MLS Cup transform a city to cause celebration and less depression even if for a day? You bet!

The Maximized Living Wellness Advisory Council doctors came together and helped transform our city, state, and MLS team. Every time you help someone win you make the world a better place to live.

Well done, Colorado WAC doctors, and WAC doctors across the country, you made a difference in the lives of thousands.
