More than any other time in our history we are living longer, and the advances in science tell us that in the next decade or so there will be breakthroughs that will bring the average lifespan up to about a century. Sadly, while we are living longer many are living with more illnesses and diseases that are preventable or treatable. We need an approach to the life and the body that is rooted and grounded in the way our bodies were made to live. Of the many health care professionals I have been privileged to be associated with over the years, I have come to deeply appreciate and value the work of my dear friend and colleague Dr. Ben Lerner and his approach to health, wholeness, and well-being.  In a day when so many drug therapies have numbed us to the real root causes of our physical conditions, his work offers a “take responsibility for your life and health” hands-on approach to becoming everything you were intended to become.

Overseer of The Master’s Touch International Church in Orlando, FL

As a minister and professional musician for more than 15 years, I have struggled in the attempt to secure a healthy, nutritional lifestyle while traveling more than 150 days out of the year.  Thank God for Dr. Ben Lerner! His principles, derived in part by the greatest “handbook for living” ever written, the Bible, have helped me to not only feel better physically, but to remember that God Himself desires me to be strong, well, and full of life ( John 10:10, Jer. 29:11). This is no fad diet, this is a lifestyle—a revelation of health, hope, and happiness.

The exercise and nutrition program in Maximized Living will help me stay healthy and running for a long time. Doctor Ben gives great information about stress and time management, too, which will help me with two of the most important areas of my life: (1) Experiencing a powerful relationship with God; and (2) Maintaining a strong family life.
